A professional actor, writer and private acting
coach in New York City, Cheryl has worked extensively as a trainer/ facilitator
in theatre/improvisation workshops for corporate conferences across the
US. Clients include, Verizon, Pepsi, PwC, Lehman Brothers, Marsh, Merck,
Shering Plough, Amgen and the US Navy. Cheryl has worked
as lead trainer /facilitator for the consulting company, Performance of
a Lifetime and Stage Right. She is also the media coach and communications
director for Beverly
Feldman Shoes. Cheryl appears regularly on HSN
as a guest and representative of the line.
With her unique mix of presentation and improvisation skills, Cheryl works
to bring out each client’s most dynamic and effective performance. Whether
preparing for a Webinar broadcast, television appearance or live conference
presentation, Cheryl guides her clients to relieve tension, create connection
with the audience and communicate with a natural, direct and authentic style
that has tremendous impact and command.
A veteran Broadway and Off Broadway actress, Cheryl was recently
featured on Broadway with the legendary Jackie Mason in Laughing Room
Only. She
was also featured in the Broadway Revival of The Women at the Roundabout
Theatre with Cynthia Nixon, Rue McClanahan and Jennifer Tilly (filmed for
PBS). Off Broadway she has starred in I Love You,You’re Perfect, Now
Change, Game Show , Buffalonia ( writer/ performer) and That’s
Life! (contributing writer) and most recently received critical acclaim
as Mamie Eisenhower in the Drama Desk nominated production of First Lady
Suite. National Tours include: Grand Night for Singing, Les Miserables,
Evita and Fiddler on the Roof starring Hershel Bernardi.TV credits
include Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Guiding Light, All My Children,
As the World Turns, Sondheim, ...at Carnegie Hall (PBS/RCA) and Queer
Eye for the Straight Guy . Films include the recent release of Brooklyn
Lobster starring Danny Aiello and Jane Curtin.
A Drama Desk and Outer Critic’s Circle Award nominated writer, Cheryl has
collaborated on a new musical, Normal, which was produced Off Broadway
and is now enjoying a tour of schools in the Midwest. She has also written
a new revue, Are We There Yet? that received productions at The Westchester
Broadway Theatre and Queens Theatre in the Park. She is a graduate of Northwestern
University.
